Gerry Adams denies any part in McConville disappearance
A BBC documentary investigating the murder by the IRA of at least 15 people during Northern Ireland's Troubles, is broadcast on Monday evening.
IRA men are interviewed about those abducted, tortured and secretly buried by the movement in The Disappeared - made by the investigative reporter Darragh McIntyre.
The BBC's Ireland Correspondent Andy Martin, who has seen the film, reports for Radio 4's Today programme.
Speaking to McIntyre, Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams denies that he ordered the disappearance of Jean McConville.
"I had no act or part to play in the abduction, killing or burial of Jean McConville," said Mr Adams.
The Disappeared is broadcast on BBC One in Northern Ireland at 22:35 GMT on Monday 4 November and across the UK on BBC Four at 22:00 on Tuesday 5 November.
