Theresa Villiers: Today a 'bad day for NI political process'

Northern Ireland Secretary of State has said that today is a "bad day for the Northern Ireland political process".

Theresa Villiers was speaking after First Minister Peter Robinson stepped aside and other DUP ministers are to resign as a result of the political crisis at Stormont.

Ms Villiers added that there had been a number of bad days since the Good Friday Agreement and in all of those instances, solutions had been found.
