Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn is 'friend of Ireland'
Sinn Féin has welcomed the election of Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the labour party by describing him as a "friend of Ireland".
On Saturday, Mr Corbyn became party leader after receiving 60% of more than 400,000 votes cast, trouncing his rivals Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper and Liz Kendall.
