Labour leadership: Jeremy Corbyn on leader result
Jeremy Corbyn has said he was "a bit surprised" at the scale of his victory in the Labour leadership contest.
He told the BBC that the result was a "fantastic moment, fantastic mandate for change in Britain", and was a great day for British politics.
He was interviewed in the street, in front of backers chanting "Jez we did", and was asked about some key Labour figures who have said they will not serve under him.
