Free SmartPass: Protest held over eligibility proposals

A protest has been held in Belfast over proposed changes to free bus passes in Northern Ireland.

There is a consultation to raise the age of eligibility from 60 to 65 or 66.

Patricia McKeown, of the trade union Unison, said many people faced difficult sacrifices to travel if the proposals are implemented, while others may not make journeys at all.
