Conference swap Lib Dem MP: What would Maggie think?

The Daily Politics sent Liberal Democrat culture spokesman Don Foster to see what the Tories get up to at their conference as he tried on a baseball cap and wondered what Lady Thatcher would have thought of it all.

He was "incredibly impressed" to hear Nick Clegg is name-checked and cheered alongside David Cameron, but he was not so keen on the drinks they served at the Birmingham gathering.

It is part of a Daily Politics coalition conference swap where Conservative MP and Deputy Speaker Nigel Evans went to the Lib Dem conference last month.
