Hague: Safety of Britons in Libya remains top priority
The Foreign Secretary William Hague is promising to send out "as many planes as necessary" to bring Britons home from Libya.
About 300 British citizens are thought to still be in the country but a charter flight is on its way to rescue some of them.
Mr Hague says up to 170 British oil workers based in camps in the Libyan desert are in a "perilous situation".
