Yuri Gagarin: 'I was never nervous during the space flight'

Yuri Gagarin, the first person to go in space, was interviewed by British journalists while on a visit to London in July 1961.

He answered questions from Richard Dimbleby, Tom Margerison, science editor of the Sunday Times, and Yuri Fokin of the Soviet Television Service, during a live broadcast from the Russian exhibition at Earls Court.

His answers are interpreted by Boris Belitsky of Moscow Radio.
