Sir Menzies Campbell says divisions over the AV referendum will not hurt the coalition partnership - and there is no risk to Mr Clegg as party leader.
But Mr Davies claims the "tail is wagging the dog" and some Conservative colleagues fear too many concessions are being made to the smaller party in the partnership.
