Chris Huhne 'welcomes' police driving points referral

Energy Secretary Chris Huhne has said allegations he asked someone else to take his penalty points for a speeding offence in 2003 are "simply incorrect".

Mr Huhne said the claims had been made before and were untrue, and that he welcomed the police referral as it would "draw a line under the matter".
