Inverclyde by-election: candidates tested on local hero

Inverclyde voters elect a new MP on Thursday after the death of David Cairns.

Labour's 14,000 general election majority in Inverclyde was cut back to 500 in the nearest equivalent constituency in last month's Scottish Parliament elections.

Adam Fleming tested the candidates - Labour's Iain McKenzie, SNP's Ann McLaughlin, Liberal Democrat Sophie Bridger, and Conservative David Wilson - on their knowledge of a local hero.

Mitch Sorbie is also standing for the UK Independence Party.
