London riots: Yvette Cooper on police numbers and security

The shadow home secretary said "police numbers matter" as she reviewed the London riots and accused David Cameron, Theresa May and Boris Johnson of being "armchair constables" through the disturbances.

Yvette Cooper claimed the government was "taking a risk with London's security" as she was quizzed over Labour's record on crime, police funding and youth unemployment with the Politics Show's Tim Donovan at the party's conference in Liverpool.
