Economy dominates David Cameron's conference speech
David Cameron has addressed his party on the final day of the Conservative Party conference in Manchester, amid the news that UK growth has been revised down.
Mr Cameron warned that the threat of global recession is as serious as it was in 2008, but urged Britain to stick with his deficit reduction plan and not to become "paralysed by gloom and fear".
The Prime Minister's speech was changed from an earlier draft shown to reporters, which called on the public to pay off its credit card debts.
