PMQs: Cameron defends Theresa May on UK border controls

The prime minister was pressed on how many people entered the UK while the UK Border Agency (UKBA) relaxed its passport controls.

David Cameron defended Home Secretary Theresa May's actions, but criticised the "unauthorised action" by UKBA staff who applied the rules for a wider group of people entering Britain.

Ed Miliband claimed it was "totally unacceptable" she had been unable to say which ports and airports it applied to, but Mr Cameron said the figures requested had already been supplied.
