Scottish referendum: Bruce Crawford and Douglas Alexander

The SNP's Bruce Crawford said the Scottish government has legal advice that it can hold an "advisory referendum" on independence from the rest of the UK.

Labour's Douglas Alexander said there was no rising support for independence and queried why the poll was planned for 2014 when there were no elections due in 2013.
