Unofficial biographer: Goodwin will feel 'scapegoated'

Former Royal Bank of Scotland chief executive Fred Goodwin, heavily criticised over the bank's near collapse, has been stripped of his knighthood.

His unofficial biographer, Nick Kochan, said he believed Mr Goodwin would receive the news "really quite harshly".

He told the BBC: "I think he's a man who has enjoyed the status of being a knight".
