New challenge over 'granny tax' plan

The government will face a further challenge to the budget in a Commons debate over the what has been dubbed the 'granny tax'.

The Chancellor announced that the 'age related allowance' for pensioners will be frozen from next year, and abolished for those about to hit retirement age.

Labour say some pensioners could lose more than £300 a year.
