Leveson defends inquiry into media standards

Lord Justice Leveson has defended his inquiry into media standards and said he "was not in any way" seeking to challenge the right of Parliament to examine any of the issues his inquiry is covering.

However, he urged Parliament not to publish any evidence relating to the BSkyB takeover until it has been dealt with by his inquiry.
