Paralympian Sophie Christiansen on London transport

One of the UK's most successful Paralympians has claimed that London is simply too inaccessible to live in, as BBC cameras followed her struggles with the capital's bus and the underground network.

Sophie Christiansen said she was unable to travel with another person in a wheelchair because of a lack of space on buses, and had to rely on taxis which were an expensive option.

The triple gold winning equestrian champion said London "should be leading by example" and claimed changes could be made without spending large amounts of money, as she spoke to Chris Fry of the A2B Campaign.

She drew comparisons with her relatively easy travel around Vienna's public transport system.
