Oxfam: India aid 'a lifeline' for poorest
The UK-based charity Oxfam has called the decision to end development aid to India by 2015 "hasty"
Ministers have said the move to cut about 90% of the UK's aid donations reflected the country's changing role in the global economy.
Emma Seery, head of public services and development finance at Oxfam, said some of the world's poorest families lived in India and the government's decision had not been sufficiently considered.
