Abu Qatada: Geoffrey Robertson and Chris Bryant
Labour's Shadow Immigration Minister said Theresa May "had quite a lot of egg on her face" for failing to deport Abu Qatada to Jordan.
Chris Bryant spoke after the terror suspect was relased from jail on Tuesday when a UK court ruled he might not get a fair trial if deported to Jordan to face terrorism charges.
Human rights lawyer Geoffrey Robertson questioned why he had ever been given asylum. And former Chief of the General Staff Lord Dannatt said Britain had very good relations with Jordan and it was a country "I think we can trust".
