Tory leader Lord Strathclyde steps down from Lords

Lord Strathclyde is standing down as the leader of the Conservative Party in the House of Lords.

He wants to pursue a career in business and will be replaced by Lord Hill of Oareford.

The BBC's Norman Smith said Lord Strathclyde, who is aged 52, had been in front line politics for 25 years, serving under six different Tory leaders.
