Sir Bob Russell said he had spoken about the Middle East and the Army without any interest, but his bright yellow waistcoat at PMQs had brought him a lot of attention, as he showed off more of his flamboyant garments, with one lined up for the Budget.
While Conservative MP Robert Halfon revealed his love for his Spitting Image-style Margaret Thatcher slippers he picked up in his student days, which he wore at university and now have pride of place in his home.
But Labour's Alan Johnson struggled to join in with the fun, except to warn voters off the coalition for their sense of fashion.
