Budget 2013: Deputy speaker on MPs at chancellor's speech

Deputy Speaker Lindsay Hoyle MP claimed some MPs were must have been on a famous energy drink as he reviewed a rowdy House of Commons where he repeatedly had to warn them during George Osborne and Ed Miliband's speeches.

He explained the history of why he, as Chairman of Ways and Means, was in charge of the Budget debate as he spoke of a tense day.

And he was asked about the Budget leak, where a newspaper tweeted information ahead of the chancellor's speech, before MPs on the Daily Politics panel paid tribute to how he handled their colleagues.
