David Miliband: "I didn't want to be a distraction"
The former Labour foreign secretary, David Miliband, who has announced he is leaving politics to head up an international charity based in the US, has said the party can win the next election under the leadership of his brother, Ed.
Mr Miliband told the BBC that he believed his brother would be "a great prime minister" who would do a better job of leading the country towards social justice, economic prosperity and international strength than the current government.
