Public reaction to benefit changes and welfare cuts
The cap on benefits starts in four London boroughs on Monday, before being rolled out across England, Wales and Scotland over the summer.
It will see 40,000 households receive less money from the government as part of a drive to reduce public spending.
Giles Dilnot took part in the most unscientific of polls - the Daily Politics mood box with coloured balls - to see what the public in the Kent towns of Gravesend and Chatham made of the change.
