Local elections: Cameron defends mortgage subsidies
David Cameron has defended the coalition's policy of subsidising mortgages for first time buyers while at the same time cutting housing benefit for some people.
The Prime Minister was in Lancashire promoting the Government's help to buy scheme ahead of next week's local council elections in England and Wales.
The BBC's Political Editor Nick Robinson spent the day with the Prime Minister as part of his series meeting the main party leaders ahead of the local elections on 3 May.
