Clegg backs childcare plan – Gove

The Education Secretary has accused Nick Clegg of deciding childcare policy "by internal Lib Dem politics".

Speaking to James Landale on the Andrew Marr Show, Michael Gove claimed the Deputy Prime Minister is attempting to appease his party by showing "a bit of leg".

Mr Gove also accused Lord Oakeshott of manoeuvring against his party leader, wanting to replace him with Business Secretary Vince Cable.
