Queen's Speech vote: Cameron 'relaxed about free vote'
More than 130 MPs have backed an amendment to the Queen's Speech "expressing regret" that plans for an EU referendum were not included in the government's plans for the year ahead.
Eurosceptic Tories forced the vote as part of efforts to make Prime Minister David Cameron's pledge for a poll in 2017 binding.
Speaking to reporters at the UN ahead of the vote, David Cameron said "It is a free vote and I am very relaxed about that - I don't think people can read anything really into the scale of that free vote".
