Bob Crow opposes Labour change on universal benefits
Labour appeared to be following the coalition with cuts which could lead to "the end of universal benefits", rail union leader Bob Crow has warned.
He advised Labour to "stop what they are doing" or he predicted there could be "disastrous consequences" for working men and women if changes to winter fuel payments and child benefits were carried out.
Mr Crow said the three larger parties were offering similar politics - and bidding to "out-cut each other" - in his authored film for BBC1's This Week.
