Ed Balls says more to be done to boost economy

Shadow chancellor Ed Balls has said the government should be doing more to boost the economy in order to avoid the need to make further spending cuts.

Mr Balls told Sophie Raworth on the Andrew Marr Show he was expecting to "inherit a very difficult situation, a huge deficit" after the next general election in 2015.
