Osborne to announce £11.5bn cuts
Chancellor George Osborne will announce a further £11.5 of spending cuts to come in during 2015-16, in his spending review on Wednesday.
But Mr Osborne will insist the UK economy is "leaving intensive care", also announcing investment in roads, railways, education and science.
Shadow chancellor Ed Balls has said the government should do more to boost the economy, in order to avoid making more cuts.
