UKIP: survey on Tory links, climate change and death penalty

A Sunday Politics survey of 101 UKIP councillors found 70% had previously been Conservative voters, 7% had backed Labour and 1% had voted Liberal Democrat.

It also found immigration was the top issue - above Europe - for UKIP councillors, and there was was majority support for the death penalty.
