MP: We should accept pay rise

MPs should accept a planned pay rise of £6,000 and "not worry about money", Liberal Democrat Stephen Williams has said.

Mr Williams told BBC News that he feared the next election could turn into an auction, with candidates promising to undercut each others' rates of pay, and that only the rich would be able to afford to become MPs.
