UKIP bans 'Bongo Bongo Land' phrase used by Godfrey Bloom

The chairman of the UK Independence Party, Steve Crowther, has said UKIP MEPs should not use the phrase "Bongo Bongo Land" again.

Godfrey Bloom had used it to describe countries receiving government aid.

Mr Crowther said the phrase should not have been used and was "lazy" and "old-fashioned".
