Ed Balls: 'We will increase free childcare for working families'

Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls will give a speech focusing on stability and prosperity on the second day of Labour's party conference in Brighton.

Mr Balls wants to increase free childcare for working parents. He told BBC Breakfast that Labour would make a difference.

He also said Labour would ask the government's spending watchdog to scrutinise pledges in its 2015 election manifesto to make sure the "sums add up".
