Labour MP John Woodcock opens up about depression

A Labour MP has called for more people struggling with depression to seek treatment, after revealing he has the illness himself.

John Woodcock, who represents Barrow in Furness, in Cumbria, said he felt he could still carry out his work as an MP.

He told BBC Newsnight that he hoped his openness would help tackle the stigma surrounding the condition.
