John Woodcock MP on depression and mental illness
An MP making a slow recovery from a ladder fall a year ago has spoken about the resulting depression.
John Woodcock said he has been through a "really strange year", but after speaking about this condition, external, he said the "reaction has been extraordinary".
He said more people speaking out could change public perceptions of the condition.
