Somerset floods: MP Ian Liddell-Grainger on dredging
Environment Secretary Owen Paterson has been touring Somerset after the county was hit by flooding and farmers held a demonstration against the Environment Agency (EA), accusing it of failing to dredge local rivers.
Bridgwater MP Ian Liddell-Grainger said the area has always suffered with floods, but it has "never been as bad as this", as he called for powers to be given back to communities to dredge the rivers, and he spoke about the EA reaction to the floods.
