TV licence and BBC funding future: Bridgen and Goodman
A Conservative MP said magistrates have been contacting him to support a bid to decriminalise non-payment of the TV licence.
Andrew Bridgen claimed the BBC was "playing a blinder" on media coverage of the issue, as he debated the future of paying for TV, radio and online services, with shadow culture minister Helen Goodman, who backed retaining it, at least in the near future.
