Osborne presents Budget for 'makers, doers and savers'

The government was not "promising quick fixes" but offered a Budget for "the makers, the doers and the savers", said George Osborne.

As he closed his statement, Mr Osborne reeled off headlines from his announcements, and said the government was "taking the next steps in our long-term plan".
