Budget 2014: Nigel Farage on UK economy and role of EU
The national debt rising by 40% over the five-year government term shows "the original objective of the coalition has failed", said Nigel Farage.
In his response to the Budget, the UKIP leader said there were some "very good things going within the British economy" thanks to entrepreneurs taking risks.
He said a government could not take the full credit, or full blame, for the economy, and added that "no recession can last forever", and he spoke about the role of the EU in the British economy.
