Irish PM: McGuinness should attend Queen's banquet
The Irish Prime Minister has said Northern Ireland's Deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness, is right to attend a banquet hosted by the Queen next week.
The event at Windsor Castle is part of a state visit by the Irish President Michael D Higgins to Britain.
Enda Kenny told the Andrew Marr Show he did not see why Mr McGuinness, who is a former IRA commander should not attend.
The Taoiseach also raised the prospect of a visit by a member of the Royal family to Dublin, as part of centenary commemorations for the Easter Rising in 2016.
You can watch the Andrew Marr Show in full on the BBC iPlayer.
