Nigel Farage: Newark seat 'seriously tempting'

Nigel Farage, the leader of UKIP, has said that he is "tempted" to stand as member of parliament in the Newark constituency by-election that is expected to take place after the European elections in May.

The position became available after former Tory MP Patrick Mercer resigned after being suspended from the Commons for six months for allegedly asking questions in Parliament in return for money.
