Farage woos German Eurosceptic youth
Some German youths are looking to British Eurosceptic leader Nigel Farage for inspiration in the lead-up to the European parliamentary elections on 25 May.
He was the star guest at a recent conference organised by the Junge Alternative (JA), or Young Alternative, in the city of Cologne.
The organisation is linked to Germany's first Eurosceptic party in decades, the Alternative for Germany (AfD), which is expected to do well in the EU vote.
But Mr Farage's appearance sparked negative headlines in the German press.
