‘Tired’ Nigel Farage regrets comments

Ukip leader Nigel Farage has blamed tiredness for comments he made during a bad-tempered interview about Romanian immigrants.

Pressed during a radio interview on LBC last week, he said no-one would want a group of Romanian men to move in next door.

But on Sunday he said: "I didn't use the words in response I should have used. In life sometimes you get things wrong."
