Vince Cable 'not involved' in Clegg poll
The Business Secretary, Vince Cable, has said he "wasn't involved in any way" in opinion polls done in Nick Clegg's constituency.
Lord Oakeshott has resigned from the party after being criticised for commissioning polls showing the Liberal Democrats would perform slightly better in elections if Nick Clegg was replaced by Mr Cable.
Mr Cable, who is in China, says he was aware that Lord Oakeshott had done some "private local polling for general election planning" in his constituency and in some other areas.
