We do not export arms to Russian forces, says Defence Secretary
The Defence Secretary Michael Fallon has insisted that Britain is not supplying Russia with military equipment.
Mr Fallon was speaking to BBC Kent, after MPs asked for urgent clarification on the government's position.
A Commons committee has said that more than 250 government licences to export arms to Russia remain in place.
The UK government has been a vocal critic of other European countries who have continued to supply Moscow with weapons.
