Phillip Hammond 'disappointed' Hamas has rejected Gaza ceasefire

The Foreign Secretary, Phillip Hammond, has said he is "disappointed" that Hamas has rejected a ceasefire proposal aimed at easing the conflict in Gaza.

Mr Hammond is visiting the region to speak to both sides in the conflict, in which more than 700 people have died in 16 days of fighting.
