Labour leader Ed Miliband's plan to build a 'world-class Britain'

Ed Miliband has set out a 10-year plan to reverse the damage he says has been done by the Conservatives.

In his final party conference speech before the general election, the Labour leader put the NHS at the heart of his pitch, pledging a fund to pay for tens of thousands more doctors, nurses and midwives.

His plans for a spending boost for the NHS would be paid for by a tax on homes worth more than £2m, a crackdown on tax avoidance and a levy on tobacco firms
